My 1st experience as a Mix-d: Facilitator

I believe my first time facilitating was a great success, from the experience I have learnt how to communicate better on mixed race discussion.

As you would expect I was somewhat nervous at the beginning of mine and Jacks workshop but we had a clear idea of how we wanted the workshop to go as well as an organised plan of the workshop which resulted in a loosening of nerves as well as what I describe as a beneficial workshop experience for all involved.

I can honestly say I had a very enjoyable day and by the end of it I felt more confident and component as a facilitator.

Both myself and Jack found comfort through the facilitating of the young mixed race delegates, whilst being honoured to be given such an opportunity to educate but more importantly giving our delegates a voice that of which would be listened to.
